Cutlery
As we work to get our café ready to open, I learn something new all the time. For example, now I know that less than 50 km away from us, in the TONER factory in Moravská Třebová, they produce beautiful stainless steel cutlery. For 3 lipky we chose the Bohemia series.
Big day
The coffee machine and mill were delivered and installed.
The bar table
We want to share with you a picture of our new bar table. We are very pleased with the work of our local carpenter, Mr. Švancara.
Hot Cross Buns
During the preparations we are trying out lots of recipes. These Hot Cross Buns are the British equivalent of the Czech Mazanec and are also traditionally eaten at Easter.
Snowflakes
The forecast promises another week of cold weather and snow but the spring is announcing itself regardless. We found the first snowflakes by the Nyklovice Stream.
